Tom brings 15+ years of experience and an impressive track record in technology design, process improvement, corporate operations and business development in dynamic environments ranging from high-profile Fortune 200 companies to high-growth start-ups.  He has a uniquely holistic view of business and technology from the perspective of developer, vendor, consultant, enterprise customer, and consumer.  Tom is recognized for his ability to do more with less, proactively identify issues, and artfully craft and implement solutions in challenging environments.

 

Prior to Exemplar, Tom held management roles at Apple, Inc., with responsibilities ranging from building and testing prototypes, bug tracking and resolution, vendor management, and capital equipment purchasing. He was frequently invited to present at Apple’s Executive Briefing Center and facilitated customer and engineering meetings that led to numerous product and process design improvements.  He also led a multitude of fast track projects within Apple R&D, some of which had CEO level visibility. 

 

Prior to Apple, Inc., Tom held management positions at MTV Networks / Viacom in New York City.  Tom’s team was responsible for all facets of technical support and solutions for MTV-owned networks, providing both in-house and on-site support for complex, large-scale events such as the MTV Music Awards.

 

Before joining MTV, Tom worked with a large law firm in NYC and was a partner in an IT consulting company, building a high-profile client base that included Time Warner and Martha Stewart/Omnicom. 

 

Tom has also been a successful entrepreneur building and operating successful start up companies.
