Eric Hsu brings a global perspective and technology sector experience to the Exemplar team. Based in Shenzhen, China, Eric’s interests are in registered and exempt securities offerings, business reorganizations and financial regulation. He is a lecturer in the Transnational Practice Program at the School of Transnational Law at Peking University.
Eric’s experience includes positions with a multinational law firm and the economic crimes bureau of a New York district attorney’s office. He has helped research and draft articles on private activity bond funding and credit and liquidity requirements for open-end investment companies.
Prior to law school Eric worked as a newspaper reporter in the U.S. and was the editorial director for a magazine published by the Microsoft Corporation covering enterprise-class computing.
Eric holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he served on the Review of Banking and Financial Law. Eric is licensed in the state of New York.
